Gentry invited the Honorary chairs and several members of the Cocktails & Couture fundraiser for the San Francisco 49ers Academy to model some of fall’s best looks. Honorary Co-Chair Danielle York wears a striking red Alexander McQueen dress from Neiman Marcus, Stanford Shopping Center.

Located in East Palo Alto, the San Francisco 49ers Academy is a private nonprofit agency embedded in the public school system. Its mission is to provide low-income students in grades 6-12 with a comprehensive community of support that empowers students to be engaged in school, reach their full potential, and achieve academic and personal success in middle school, high school, and beyond. With 87% of the Academy’s students classified as socioeconomically disadvantaged, and the student homeless rate over 40%, the San Francisco 49ers Academy depends on community outreach efforts to support its important programs.

One of the Academy’s most important fundraising efforts is the energetic and fun Cocktails & Couture event. Honorary Chairs of this year’s event are Danielle York and Thea Guido. Gentry enlisted York, Guido, and several of the event’s committee members to showcase some of Fall’s most exciting fashions from Event Sponsor Stanford Shopping Center.

Cocktails & Couture Committee Members Ashley Sherman and Mandy Shanahan donned some terrific fall looks for the camera. Sherman wears a black pantsuit and silk blouse from Max Mara and Shanahan were a black long sleeved knit dress from Weekend Max Mara, Stanford Shopping Center.

Taking place at a beautiful Woodside estate on September 26, this annual fundraiser features fabulous shopping with a unique selection of curated fashion and lifestyle vendors. Twenty-five percent of all purchases made the night of the event will be donated to the 49ers Academy. Guests will enjoy epicurean delights and bites from local culinary and gourmet dessert partners, sip-sational cocktails, and luxurious wine tastings. The evening will culminate with a trend-setting fashion show featuring the ladies of the 49ers and local community celebrities. A ticket to the event includes access to the strolling shopping boutique, the high-energy fashion show, unlimited culinary bites, gourmet desserts, and beverages, and a departing gift bag filled with goodies from the event’s vendors and partners.

Cocktails & Couture Honorary Co-Chair Thea Guido wears a Balenciega black dress, Bottega Veneta moto jacket, and Saint Laurent heels from Jeffrey, Stanford Shopping Center.
