Rosewood CordeValle, the plush five star hotel located in the pristine countryside of San Martin has been a landmark in the world of golf for 20 years, and for good reason. While the hotel boasts a wide array of amenities for guests to luxuriate in, perhaps none is as famous as their state-of-the-art golf course, which has served as the idyllic backdrop for events like the PGA and the U.S. Women’s Open, among others. The immaculate fairways and stunning location have set the Rosewood CordeValle course apart for years, and the course has been consistently ranked in the top 100 golf courses in America since its opening in 1999.
But the Rosewood CordeValle Golf Club isn’t content to stop its pursuit of perfection anytime soon. After an intensive renovation process lasting three years, the new and improved course has at last been unveiled, and it promises to be more spectacular than ever. Complete with a fully re-leveled driving range and tee complexes, a higher-quality turf, completely resurfaced complexes across all 18 greens and sculpted contours that celebrate the natural splendor of the course’s surrounding, the new renovations deliver an unparalleled luxury golf experience. Bruce Charlton, President and Chief Design Officer at Robert Trent Jones II LLC, and who oversaw the resurfacing project says, “We are thrilled to unveil the updated course, which includes careful landscaping and the installation of premium-quality turf that has restored the course to its original glory.”
Golfers will revel in the new smoother, championship-pace greens, and they luxuriate in the opulent services that Rosewood CordeValle offers. One of the many unique perks that golfers enjoy is access to the Golf Butler team, a team of dedicated individuals who cater to the specific needs of each guest and assuage any potential anxieties. Golf Butlers help golfers by coordinating small bites on the green, shining golfers’ shoes and scheduling treatments at Sense, A Rosewood Spa at Rosewood CordeValle, including comprehensive golf fitness assessments, in order to take golf to new heights. Gone are the days of simply hitting balls, now, every swing is planned, supported, and confident.
For more traditional golfers who might prefer golfing with a caddie rather than a Golf Butler there is an option for that too. And in addition to acting as guide and assistant, Caddies at Rosewood CordeValle are described as philosophers, psychologists, and friends.
Golfers who work up an appetite on the green are taken care of by newly appointed Executive Chef Alexander La Motte, whose culinary offerings are sure to satiate any hungry guests. His elegant takes on classic fare are featured in menu standouts, like his signature burger and mouthwatering ahi tuna wrap, and will not disappoint.
