Dr. Joseph Field, Dr. John McFarlane, Dr. Marlana Shile, and their team at Peninsula Center for Cosmetic Dentistry (PCCD) held the 6th Annual Smiles for Troops event at their Los Altos office. The team performed free cleanings, fillings, and crowns for dozens of military vets. This year, the PCCD team was joined by Dr. Mark Beckstead of Mid-Peninsula Periodontics, Dr. Jennifer Lehnhardt and Dr. John Van of Dental Arts of Mountain View, and endodontist Dr. Kingstone Shih in order to help even more of the heroes who have sacrificed for America in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa. PCCD specializes in cosmetic dentistry, IV sedation, dental implants, Invisalign orthodontics, and general dentistry. All of the dentists and dental hygienists volunteered a full workday to treat as many vets as possible free of charge.
